Sprints day

On Wednesday November the 17th the whole school had athletics day.The most exciting events is sprints.I was shy and nervous because with a sour leg I couldn't run that far and that fast, but I stall gave it my best and I never gave up.I said to myself I have a good chance of winning this game.So after lunch we done the roll and head to the running track where the event happened.First were the year 0's to 3's.After the juniors race it was the seniors turn.I was first up with the other year 5 boys.When I looked at them they looked like they got a chance of  winning this race.The race started.Bang!!! went the wood clapper I ran my fastest to the end and guest what I came 3rd.I got given a third card that said the number three and Mrs Anderson said you made it to the second race.We had another race.We stood in our lines and all of us ran fast like a cheater and  we aslo all gave it our best.I came second and I was sent to the finals.I was proud of myself because the effort I have put into this race.In the finals there were Sam, Koloa , Mataio and I.Bang!!! went the wood clapper again and this time I stretched my leg far as I can many times and ran fast and fast until I finished and when I got given I card it was the number 1.I came first and I couldn't believe it.I think I had a lot of fun in sprints.

Athletics Day

Today Panmure Bridge School had a athletics day.In athletics there were 12 diffrent activity.My favourite event was called the been bag balance challenge.The goal was to try and balancethe been bag on your legs and hand.We had partners to do  this event and my partner was Jericho.My partner Jericho played  fair in this event because even do he dropped the been bag he told the teacher straight away.My secound favourite event was called the hurdles.It was fun because I never got out andit was also fun because it was easy and I like easy stuff.The goal was to jump it and try not to hit the stick.After that we moved to the other activity.I liked this because I like Jumping things.

Basic facts Karuta

Today I played basic facts karuta with Harlem.It was a really tough game because he had 4 cards and I had 5 cars and if he took the last card number 2  he would win but lucky My hands were in the top of the card first.

Number stones.

Today I played number stones with Joshua Harlem Daniel and I. I versed Joshua and Daniel versed Harlem. Daniel beat Harlem by two points and Joshua beat me by one point.I think it was really tough game for us boys.

extra maths

 Today for extra maths I only got 3 wrong and 30 right.I think I did really well but next time I will try my best to get no wrong.

Studdy ladder

Today for my third independent maths  work I did study ladder.The game I was playing was Adding fractions-visual cues.There were 10 answers and I only got 8 right and 2 wrong.For that I got 8 points.

Today for indepent maths I tried Subtraction Triangle.My score was 2 minuted ad 5 seconds.

Addition triangle

Today for indepent maths I decided to do Addition Triangle.First I had to pick 6 numbers for the 6 boxes in the bottum after that I had to add which mean plus them until the numbers get bigger and bigger and I ended up with the number 80.

Today I did a Word Web.I had to choose one difficult word that I am unsure of and put it as my one difficult word.Then after that I had to get words that are the same meaning but diffrent word.One of my word is postie.

Reading Group Task

Today fin the human group read a story about flowers, I learnt about the stamen on the hibiscus flower. The stamens on the flower is the male part it helps the female part to grow bigger and it is also helps the earths nature by feeding it bit by bit.I also learnt in the book flower that a flower can be Daffodil, rose, Cauliflower and a Broccoli.My difficult word is Stamens and the meaning was stamens is a male part of a flower and my evidence where I had to find the true information I found it in the book flowers written by Heather Jenkins and on page 6 the first sentences says  a stamen is a male part of a flower.

This is my Word Web.I had to find one difficult word in my book that I don't know and had to get words that are the same meaning but different words.One of my words is wager.I done it because when I grow up I can explain to others in a easy way.I learnt that the words for parlay and the meaning.

Holiday recount

Going to the Pakuranga centre swimming pools.

Last Friday it was so hot day so my mum decided to take me my brothers, sister and Cousin to the pools.It was called the Pakuranga center swimming pool.

First I went on the bouncy castle so I can warm myself up before I went to the cold side of the pool.When I went on the bouncy castle I jumped over a big but soft pole it was cool because it was a competition and we had to do challenges to see who could jump more higher than the pole.I only jumped half the height of the pole because my leg was not that flexible.When I was going to hop of the pool I did a massive staple bomb.I landed on my tummy and it hurt because the water felt hard.I went to my brother and we had a  breathing competition .When I started my brother cheated by starting after me and I didn't know that if I knew I would  be angry and jealous.When I was under the water I didn't see my brother so that time I knew that he was cheating I stood up with a angry face because for  nearly making  me stayed under the water for nearly 2 minutes.He  said sorry and I forgave his apologize and after that he said that I won then my face turned  to a happy banana  face.The last thing I done before We went is racing my brother around the pools three to see who is faster.I didn't want to swim that much because I was lazy and tired  after going on the bouncy castle for half an hour walking around lazy and swimming around the swimming pools.I didn't  want to lose so I took the race.We started from the bouncy  castle to  the end of the swimming pool.Half way the pools I gave up because I only had half my energy so I gave up the race.

When the hand hit 3 o'clock my mum said let’s go so we hopped out of the water  changed into our clothes and went.While we were walking to the car I told my mum all the exciting things I did in the pools.

I went to the swimming pools because it was a hot and sunny day.I learnt that there isn't one bomb trick there are lots for example staple bomb scissors bomb cluster bomb and more.
