Today I have completed Week 2, Day 1 activities for the Summer Learning Journey. The activities I've done for this week is weather or not the questions written down on the third DLO is true or false, the great Taupo Cycle Challenge, and what you like doing during the Summer Holidays. I mostly enjoyed the great Taupo Cycle Challenge because I didn't know there was a cycle challenge held in Taupo. For this activity I was to write down three friends or families that I would take as my support crew. I decided to choose my older brother Gozan, my cousin Christopher, and my friends from school Alex.
Malo e lelei Ofa,
ReplyDeleteI am so thrilled to read that one of your favourite things to do during the summer is the Summer Learning Journey programme. That is so cool! It really is a great way to stay active with your learning and to share that learning (and knowledge) with students from all over New Zealand.
Speaking of staying active, I think that you have made some really good choices for teammates in the Great Taupo Cycle Challenge. It will be important to have team members who are active as well as those who are able to work hard, stay focused and display integrity, like Christopher. It sounds like you have a great mix of skill, determination and heart in your team. Like you, I would also choose people who have skill as well as an interest in cycling and a commitment to working as a team to accomplish a shared goal. I like your thinking, Ofa!
Keep up the great work with this programme. It is, as always, a pleasure to read your work.
Cheers,
Rachel
Hello Ofa! Well done on all the D.L.O's, they show a lot of skill. It's good to hear that you enjoy reading and doing the SLJ in the Holidays because even out of school you are hoping to improve your knowledge for back to school. What is your favourite book? Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteMalo E Lelei Ofa,
ReplyDeleteYou have put a lot of thinking into your blog post activities. Congratulations on completing these activities. I love the way that you've used google drawings for your activity completing. Your fish DLO is outstanding, because of the colors, images, font, and words. "NICE". You nailed it. I know you love reading too. You google drawings inspire me. They make your blog post stand out. Remember to attribute the images.
Nice Work!
Hello Ofa,
ReplyDeleteYou have put a lot of effort in the activitys. Reading is very helpful. It can get you a long way! I like the people you chose because they look like they can get your team going!. Great job using your research skills to find out wheather those fish facts are true or not!. Keep up the great work Ofa!.
Hey Ofa,
ReplyDeleteGood job on these activities. The last fact on the fish fact drawing is a tricky one, as groups of fish are called "Schools". It's good to see that you didn't get confused.
Keep it up,
Alex
