Holiday Reading - Food Glorious Food

Food Glorious Food
Food is often mentioned in stories, or you might like to read a recipe book.  Find something that you could cook for your family and make it.  Take a photo or write out the recipe and post it onto your blog with a comment that tells you:

Ingredients Needed To Make Lasagna:

1  cup all-purpose flour

2  teaspoon baking powder

3  1 teaspoon white sugar

4  ½ teaspoon salt

5  1 tablespoon margarine

6  ½ cup milk

Directions/Method

Stir together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in medium size bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in milk to make a soft dough.

Drop by spoonfuls into boiling stew. Cover and simmer 15 minutes without lifting lid. Serve.

To make parsley dumplings, add 1 tablespoon parsley flakes to the dry ingredients.




Today for the holiday reading challenge I did the food glorious food activity. What I had to do with this activity was I had to read a recipe book find something I could cook with my family. Last night my mum decided to make dumplings for dinner. It tasted delicious!!!
