City Of Sails Challenge 1|Welcome To Auckland Sign

This week LS2 have been doing the City Of Sails Challenge. There were numerous of task to choose from. The task were based on Auckland and our challenge is called the City Of Sails Challenge because Auckland has over 135,000 boats or yatches. We were to pick from 48 activities and only do 5. For my first activity I decided to choose to make a collage based on the landmarks of Auckland. The activity I enjoyed the most was the Welcome Design because I got to be creative and imaginative.

Inter school Atheletics

On Tuesday some students from year 3 to 8 went to athletics. We did different kind of activities. I have created a collage of the inter school athletics. The events that were held were high jump, long jump, discuss, shot put and 50m, 75m, 100m, 200m, 400m sprints. At the end there were four people chosen from each school who did the 400m relay race. Our year 5 and 6 came 4th and our year 7 and 8 came 5th. Our school did very well and tried their best. Well done to Tiava who came first for High Jump and AJ who came first for long jump. A big thank you to Mr Ogilvie for training the athletics students and thank you to Mr Roberson and Mr Wong for taking care of us.

For one of my C A R E Award Respect task I had to create a DLO showing respect using photos I have been taking. I have four photos that show respect. You should respect people around you and also respect our environment by picking up rubbish if you see one. I have learnt what respect mean and look like.

Collage - Life At PBS - C A R E Award - Respect

Today for one of my Respect C A R E Award Task I had to make a collage about Life at PBS (Panmure Bridge School). I have photos that show how we learn at PBS. I have also put a picture for the people who joined the Summer Learning Journey and the people who came 1st 2nd and 3rd. I came 3rd with some other people. I hope you like the collage.
