Tongan Language Week - Fake Iphone Text Message

This week for Tongan Language Week Mrs Anderson, LS2, and LS1 have been working collaboratively to pronounce the Tongan phrases and greetings. One of the activity set for us was we were to create a DLO based on Tonga Language Week. Carl, Affonso, Joseph and I have made a Fake Iphone Text Message to show I you can speak in Tongan. On the right hand of the DLO it translate the Tongan phrases into English. One phrase my group was struggling on was Fuoloa 'e fepulingaki which means longtime see. After creating the DLO we made a screencastify explaining what we did and also saying the message we wrote.

Christmas in South Africa - Screencastify

This week LS2 is learning about how to work as a team and how to work collaboratively. We discussed about different countries who celebrate Christmas. We were spilited into groups and had to choose a country that we would like to research about Christmas. We decided to research about Christmas in South Africa. We learnt a lot of new things about how people celebrate Christmas in different ways. We also learnt that Geseende Kersfees means Merry Christmas in South Africa. The thing we found interesting was that people in South Africa eat turkey and duck for Christmas meals. Above shows you our DLO about Christmas in South Africa and we made a screencastify to record our thinking about Christmas in South Africa.

Screencastify - Maths

The past weeks LS2 have been learning how to plan a screen cast and also how to record our learning on screencastify. The screenshot above shows you my plan. The audio section is what I said while recording. The link in my planning template links to my DLO. The three screenshots of the DLO are the tabs I have to go on to record. On Friday Mrs Grant taught LS2 how to download screencastify, how to log in, and how to record our learning. The video above shows you my recording of my thinking in maths.
