Week 2 Maths Follow Up Day 4

Day 4

L.I I am learning to add 3 or more numbers by first making up pairs that add up to 10

1. 6 + 2 + 4 + 7 + 3 = 22   6 + 4 = 10   7 + 3 = 10   10 + 10 = 20 + 2 = 22
2. 10 + 0 + 3 + 7 + 1 = 21    10 + 0 = 10   7 + 3 = 10   10 + 10 = 20 + 1 = 21
3. 8 + 2 + 7 + 3 + 6 = 26   8 + 2 = 10   7 + 3 = 10   10 + 10 = 20 + 6 = 26
4. 9 + 6 + 4 + 3 +7 = 29  6 + 4 = 10   7 + 3 = 10    10 + 10 = 20 + 9 = 29

3 + 7 + 6 + 4 + 5 = 25   6 + 4 = 10    7 + 3 = 10   10 + 10 = 20 + 25

Today for maths my group had to answer these equations. We just didn't put the answer down we solved it out a swell. I Learning Intention was to add 3 or more numbers by first making pairs that add up to 10 for example 7 + 3 = 10 or 6 + 4 = 10.
