Weeks 2 Maths Follow Up Day 5

Day 5

L.I I am learning to add 3 or more numbers by first making up pairs that add up to 10

1. 3 + 6 + 4 + 7 + 6 = 26  7 + 3 = 10  6  + 4 = 10  10 + 10 = 20 + 6 = 26
2. 6 + 3 + 8 + 2 + 4 = 23    8 + 2 = 10   6 + 4 = 10    10 + 10 = 20 + 3 = 23
3. 8 + 3 + 7 + 2 + 9 = 29   7 + 3 = 10    8 + 2 =  10    10 + 10 = 20 + 9 = 29
4. 9 + 6 + 4 + 1 + 8 = 28   9 + 1 = 10    6 + 4 =  10    10 + 10 = 20 + 8 = 28
5. 2 + 9 +1 +8 +7 = 27  9 + 1 = 10   8 + 2 = 10   10 + 10 = 20 + 7  = 27

Today for maths my group had to answer these questions by solving it out. We had to add 3 or more numbers by first making up pairs that add up to 10.
