Day 2

I am learning to subtract by splitting numbers into pairs instead of counting down.

1. 32 - 5 = 23

30 + 2

30 - 5 = 25

25 - 2 = 23

2. 34 - 4 = 30

30 + 4

30 - 4 = 26

26 + 4 = 30

3. 37 - 6 = 31

30 + 7

30 - 6 = 24

24 + 7 = 31

4. 33 - 8 = 25

30 + 3

30 - 8 = 22

22 + 3 = 25

5. 39 - 7 = 32

30 + 9

30 - 7 = 23

23 + 9 = 32






Today for maths I had to solve these problems. I learning intention was to subtract by splitting numbers into pairs instead of counting down for example 
32 - 5 30 + 2 30 - 5 = 25 25 + 2 = 27
