Winter Learning Journey - No Girls Allowed



Today for Winter Learning Journey Challenge I have completed my fourth activity. For this activity I had find out in my own opinion if either it's fair for women to not compete in the Ancient Olympics Games or If it was fair for women to compete in the Ancient Olympics Games. My Answer was it was not fair.

    I completely agree with you, Ofa! I think that both men and women deserve the right to compete at the Olympic Games. Fortunately, they have changed the rules and allowed women to compete in the modern day games. I am actually really excited to watch the upcoming Olympics and to see how our male and female athletes from New Zealand do. I hope that they are able to perform at their best and to, maybe even, win a medal.

    That would be pretty exciting, wouldn't it?!

    I think you made the right choice for this activity, since the best athlete for New Zealand is a woman.

    I think that girls should have the right to compete in the Olympic games. Everyone should have a chance to prove themselves, boy or girl. Keep up the awesome work Ofa
