Hi Ofa, I love that you have chosen Valerie Adams as the athlete to profile. I see in your DLO that you have listed her as a former Olympic shot putter but she's actually still competing. She is expected to participate in the Rio Olympics and may even win a gold medal. How cool is that?!
ReplyDeleteI also think that it's quite cool that she is Steven Adam's (half) sister. He is a very talented basketball player who plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the National Basketball League (NBA). Are you a basketball fan? I used to play basketball really competitively when I was younger and living in Canada. It's a really popular sport in North America!

ReplyDeleteI'm not a basketball fan that much, but when there is no rugby to see I often watch basketball or Soccer even do it's not my favourite thing to watch.
