Winter Learning Jounrey - Made Up Sport
Today for the Winter Learning Journey Challenge I did a activity that was pretty fun. For this activity I had to imagine that I was on the Paralympic Commite and I have been asked to create a New Sport to add to the competition for this year. So this DLO shows a made up sport I have created. I had to write down the name of the sport, how to play it and three rules.

Wow, Ofa, I love this idea!! I was smiling the entire time that I was reading your DLO. You have shown such amazing creativity and thoughtfulness. It is definitely a sport that most Paralympic athletes could participate in without risking injury. Great work!
ReplyDeleteAs an aside, would you watch this sport if it were on TV? I think that I would!
Keep up the great work!!
Rachel
Ofa did you change your name?
ReplyDeleteHey Ofa,
ReplyDeleteI really like you're new sport because nearly all Paralympic contestants have one leg, so most can play. Also, maybe you could make a buddy obstacle course version, where blind people can participate by relying on others instructions to avoid obstacles.
Keep it up,
Thomas
Hi Ofa
ReplyDeleteI really think this sport should be on the para-Olympics. It is very interesting and looks like a heap of fun. I wonder if the para-Olympic people will consider having this sport in there event. Keep up the awesome work.
