1. 35 - 6 = 29

30 + 5

30 - 6 = 24

24 + 5 = 29

2. 27 - 9 = 18

20 + 7

20 - 9 = 11

11 + 7 = 18

3. 44 - 6 = 38

40 + 4

40 - 6 = 34

34 + 4 = 38

4. 39 - 6 = 33

30 + 9

30 - 6 = 24

24 + 9 = 33

5. 29 - 6 = 23

20 + 9

20 - 6 = 14

14 + 9 = 23

Today for maths my group, Wakatipu had to solve these equations. By solving these equations and answering it we had to subtract by splitting numbers into pairs instead of counting down.
