For this Summer Learning Journey activity the task was to find a famous cathederal and provide some interesting information about it.

Name: Holy Trinity Cathedral
Location: Auckland, New Zealand
When was it built: The construction started in 1957and finished in 1973. 
How long did it take to build it? It took 16 years to build the Holy Trinity Cathedral

    Hi Ofa,

    Great work with this activity! It's great that you attached a photo of what the cathedral looks like. What an impressive building! I was there just a few weeks ago for a Christmas concert and it's really lovely. There is a big organ that takes up a whole wall! Have you ever been here before?

    How amazing that it took them 16 years to build! Why do you think it took them such a long time?

    Great job on completing this summer learning journey activity. I wonder how the builders of the cathedral felt, spending 16 years on one project! Keep up the amazing work.
