Summer Learning - Week 3 - Day 1 - Activity 2

Today for the Summer Learning Journey I have completed activity 2 for day 1. For this activity I had to list which names are currently popular in my school. In the 1950s the names that were popular for baby girls were Christine, Susan, Margaret, Judith, and Jennifer. The names that were popular for baby boys in 1950 was John, David, Peter, Michael, and Robert.

1950s popular baby names:
Boys - John, David Peter, Michael and Robert
Girls - Christine, Susan, Margaret, Judith and Jennifer

In our school  there is one boy name Peter and one boy name David. Theres is also one boy name Michael who is in room 2. I think the popular name in our school is Peter.

  1. Mālō e lelei Ofa,
I can see where you coming from as Peter and David are very popular names nowadays, for sure! What about the girls?
In order for you to gain full points in this activity I need you to list 3 popular names for girls as well. Could you do that and let me know?
    Dig in and keep blogging!

  2. Hi Ofa
Good job on completing this summer learning journey activity. I know of students in Panmure Bridge school with the name Peter or David and I think there is someone called John (I have no idea about Michael). Keep up the amazing work Ofa.
