Summer Learning Journey - Week 4 - Day 2 - Activity 2

Today for the Summer Learning I did the first activity for the second day of the fourth week, for it I had to tell my sporting hero. I have to tell who they are? Why are they a hero? and also include a photo of them.

My sporting hero is Jason Taumalolo. He is a former North Queensland Cowboys in the NRL (National Rugby League). He is also a Tongan international representative. He played for the 2017 Mate Ma'a Tonga team last year. I was so proud that they made it to the Semi Finals with England. In 2016 he was named the RLPA (Rugby League Players Association) player of the year.

  1. Mālō e lelei Ofa,
I really liked the video that you added to this post because it really shows why you did choose Jason to be your hero, he is a very talented sportsman! You did an awesome job with that!
I think that the Mate Ma'a Tonga team performance last year was so brilliant and inspiring! It was lovely seeing the Tonga community coming together to support their team. Furthermore, it was great see so many red Tongan flags everywhere in Auckland, it always made me smile. Did you went to any of the games?

Great job on completing this summer learning journey activity. Jason Taumalolo looks like an amazing rugby player and I like the reasons you gave on why he is your sporting hero. Keep up the amazing work Ofa!
