Winter Learning Journey - Design Your Own Flag

For this winter learning journey activity we had to design our own flag. Rachel (Winter Learning Journey Manager) recommended us to use Flag Designer website. I using this website because it allows us to create our flag in three diffrent ways which is the Division, Overlay, and the Symbol. I have learnt that New Zealand's flag was created in 1902. The picture below shows my own created flag. The black and white symbolises the All Blacks and the green trees symbolises our environment.

  1. Hi Ofa

I really love your flag, It Really looks sporty. I think that you should and in dome of the NZ colors to make is be looking like NZ more. What inspired you to make this flag?. Good Job Ofa you done well.

  2. Hello Ofa, it is good to see you completed some tasks already. I like how you explained the parts of your flag and what they represent. Keep up the awesome work.

  3. Hi Ofa,
Your flag is very creative and it really stands out. What your flag symbolizes is really interesting, so there for I like it! I can tell that you've thought about the popular and important things in New Zealand. Good Job!

  4. Hello Ofa
Your flag looks really stylish and it's completely different from our current one. I like how you replaced the union jack with a tree to symbolize our environment. Your flag looks amazing! Keep it up.

  5. Hi Ofa. I think your flag looks great. I also like how you have explained what each symbol represents. You have completed a bunch of tasks, keep it up.

  6. Malo Ofa!

What a cool flag design! I love that you have thought a little bit out of the box and incorporated two things that New Zealand is represents - our desire to keep NZ clean and green, and of course, the All Blacks! A great choice in colours and design!

    Well done Ofa!
